Music has helped St. Mark’s thrive for more than a century, and a talented group of volunteers and staff singers proudly carry on that tradition by offering some of the finest Anglican choral music in our region.
Our Adult Choir is comprised of approximately twenty singers and sings weekly at the Sunday 10:15 a.m. service of Holy Eucharist from mid August through mid June. Wednesday rehearsals run from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. during the academic year, under the direction of Organist-Choirmaster Jordan Williams.
In addition to the main service on Sundays, the Choir sings for all Holy Week services and services on Christmas Eve. Evensong on All Saints’ Sunday (6 p.m.) and The Service of Lessons and Carols on the Fourth Sunday of Advent (10:15 a.m.) are offered for the benefit of the wider Beaumont community.
Membership is open to all. Applicants for staff singer positions can learn more here auditioning and job requirements.
