Adult Education

This ministry focuses on the spiritual formation and fellowship of adults of all ages. There are classes on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays that offer scripture study, book study, and special lectures.

Beginning Sunday, March 1, 2020

The Habits of Lent – This class will explore five habits especially appropriate for Lent: fasting, alms giving, mediating on Holy Scripture, self examination, and repentance.

The Discovery ClassThis class prepares adults for membership (at St. Mark’s), confirmation (in The Episcopal Church), reception (from the Roman Catholic Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, or the Orthodox Church into The Episcopal Church), and the reaffirmation of baptismal vows (Episcopalians transferring to St. Mark’s from other Episcopal congregations).  Learn about following Jesus and serving your neighbor at St. Mark’s, in The Episcopal Church, throughout the Golden Triangle and beyond in the Discovery Class!
