Dear Friends in Christ,

Bishop Andy Doyle has issued new protocol guidelines for worship and assemblies for Phase II during the Pandemic.  Here is a summary of the guidelines that will apply to our common life at St. Mark’s Church.

Requirements applying until the end of Phase III:
*Masks will be worn indoors even for those who are vaccinated.
*Please continue to RSVP at the website for all services.
*If you are in a risk category, we recommend that you do not come to church.
*If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, do not come to church.

Phase II Protocols:
*Attendance will be governed by the physical distancing rule of 6-10ft. This does not apply to family groups.
*Attendance at live worship will follow the 25% capacity rule.  (The Nave at St. Mark’s Church can easily accommodate 100).
*Your congregation may begin to sing with masks and physical distancing of at least 6ft. We recommend masks for all choir members.
*Prayer Books and Hymnals can be used. Pew cushions return. We will continue to make printed copies of special services and the 10:00 AM Sunday morning service.
*Shared communion cup for drinking is not appropriate.  We can return to intinction. (Intinction is the practice when each person dips the wafer into the wine).  You may also choose to receive the bread only. Masks should be worn by all during the distribution of communion.

Holy Week and Easter Services:
Please see our schedule for special services.
We will offer both 8 AM Holy Eucharist – Rite I and 10:00 AM Holy Eucharist – Rite II on Easter Sunday. The 8 AM service is returning as part of our regular Sunday morning schedule.
