A beautiful cool morning was the backdrop for St. Mark’s first ever Cheer Station supporting the Gift of Life 5K Color Run for a Cure. The charity run is an annual fund raising event supporting Gift of Life, an organization that provides funds for mammograms and support for Breast Cancer patients. The children of St. Mark’s made signs of encouragement and St. Mark’s volunteers handed out hundreds of bottles of water and bunches and bunches of bananas to the runners as they hit the last turn of the route to the finish line. More than 6000 runners participated in the Downtown Beaumont event. It was a great day!
