
Frank Fuller - Rector
The Reverend Frank Fuller, our rector, arrived at St. Mark’s in December of 2007, coming from a the Church of the Good Shepherd in Corpus Christi. Having been a priest for more than 30 years, he is also married to a priest, the Rev. Betty Fuller, who is chaplain at All Saints’ Episcopal School in Beaumont. Frank also served churches in San Marcos and LaGrange, and previously was a chaplain at St. Elizabeth Hospital in D.C. The Fuller’s have two children. Frank enjoys escaping into the middle ages both through genealogy studies--everyone should try Ancestry.com!--and novels like the Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin. He is dedicated to growing St. Mark’s as a community raising up a new generation with a flair for mission right next door and around the world. And he welcomes you to our midst!

A. Dean Calcote -- Associate Rector
Since 1974 The Reverend Dean Calcote has been serving the people of St. Mark’s. As the Associate Rector he teaches, says the liturgy and provides pastoral care. He also serves the Diocese of Texas in a variety of ways and functions under the direction of the wardens in the absence of St. Mark’s rector. Dean is a native of Louisiana and graduate of Tulane University and the General Theological Seminary in New York City. He first served at St. Paul’s Church in New Orleans, All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg, MS, and Episcopal High School, Baton Rouge in LA, before coming to Beaumont where he served as headmaster of All Saints Episcopal School until 1998. He currently serves on the Diocesan Schools Commission, the Commission on Ministry, is the Examining Chaplain and the Christian Formation Commission of the Diocese of Texas. He is also on the Accreditation Committee of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools and the executive board of the Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program.
Dean has two children and three grandchildren. Dean likes to ride his bike and spend time with his family.

Jerome L. Wells - Organist-Choirmaster
Formerly the Organist-Director of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church in Shreveport, Louisiana for eighteen years and also Organist-Director for B’nai Zion Temple in Shreveport for eleven years, Jerome came to St. Mark’s in 1994. Jerome is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana where he studied Organ with William C. Teague and later was Adjunct Professor of Music. He holds a Master of Music in Organ Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he was a student of Robert Glasgow. In 1983, Jerome was a featured recitalist for The American Guild of Organists Regional Convention and in 1987 was honored as organist for their Opening Convocation. Jerome is a member of the Association of Anglican Musicians and the American Guild of Organists. He currently serves by appointment of the Bishop on the Church Music Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.

Jerome Dick -- Co-Director of Children’s Ministry
Jerome is a native of Beaumont and grew up in the Episcopal church. She attended Sewanee, University of the South her first two years of college and finished her B.A. in English at the University of Texas at Austin. She worked in advertising for five years in New York and Boston before getting her law degree from William and Mary. She worked as a practicing attorney for a number of years before staying home and becoming an almost full-time community volunteer. In recent years, she has returned to a first love, teaching, as a substitute teacher. As a new Christian Education co-director for St. Mark’s.

Betty Fuller -- Co-Director, Children's Ministry
As of June 2009, The Reverend Betty Fuller became one of the two co-directors of Christian Education at St. Mark’s. She also serves as chaplain at All Saints Episcopal School. With two part-time positions she can be see whizzing down Delaware and IH10 daily! Born in New Hampshire and educated in Virginia, Betty is the daughter of an Episcopal priest as well as the wife of St. Mark's rector, Frank Fuller. Betty and Frank met at Virginia Theological Seminary where they were married in May 1974. She is the proud mother of Mary and Will.

Ginger Clark -- Rector's Secretary
Ginger manages the front office of the church. She assists the Rector with all of his correspondence and responsbilities. She coordinates communications, church events, takes calls from parishioners, keeps the church calendar and manages the prayer list.
A native of Beaumont, Ginger is the mother of twin daughters. She also has three granddaughters. Formerly she worked as an administration assistant in the human resources department at Baptist Hospital. Prior to that she was long-time assistant to parishioner Frank Eastman.
Ginger loves being a grandmother, doing arts and crafts, shopping, traveling and playing with her granddaughters...wait, did she already say that. We'll it's worth repeating because she is crazy about her grandbaby.

Jan Blessing -- Business Manager
Starting in 1995 Jan counts and prepares deposits, records contributions, prepares payroll and accounts payable checks. She prepares financial reports and reconciliations. Jan also produces worship bulletins and does other duties as assigned. She loves dogs and has a dog she rescued named Rudy. Be sure and ask her about her “dot” collection.

Marcia Perrine -- Assistant Organist/Choir Director
Marcia is the principal organist for St. Mark’s early Sunday service and she is the substitute for the Organist/Choirmaster. She is the assistant director as needed for other services and accompanies the children’s choir as needed.
