Peace, Love and Chili

On Thursday, November 4th St. Mark's Parishioners will be once again sharing with each other and the community our Peace, Love and Chili.  But before we can share it, we've got to make it!

Our first chili cooking day will be Tuesday, August 10th and will continue for many Tuesdays after that in preparation for St. Mark's annual Chili Supper & Bazaar which is set for Thursday, November 4th, 2010.

To be able to share our Peace, Love & Chili, we need YOUR HELP.  We need chili cookers, onion choppers, meat stirrers, seasoners, timers, strong roaster movers and finally packers.  We are in need of a Chili Packing Chair.  If you are interested in chairing this, please contact Tressa Clarke at tbclarke@gt.rr.com or at 899-4420 or Jennifer Condon at jkcondon@gt.rr.com or at 347-1647.  Without Tuesday chili cookers, there would be no chili in November and without chili packers there would be no frozen chili.

Tuesday chili cooking days are just around the corner, so please consider joining the cooking team.

Also, Becki Stedman is our Chairperson for the Tasting for Some Other Place and will be needing help also.  The Tasting for Some Other Place is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17th.  If you are able to volunteer and give Becki a hand, please contact her at rstedman55@gmail.com.
